What the bot actually does
A copy-trading bot watches the public activity of a trader you select. Depending on the settings available in your product version, it can respond to new trades and attempt to mirror a position. You still need to check active positions and execution history after starting it.
Polyfund puts trader discovery, public history, bot settings, and monitoring in one terminal. The site demo uses sample data and places no orders. Automation saves manual work; it does not guarantee a profitable trade.
Choose a trader from the underlying trades
Use the same time window for every wallet you compare. Open individual positions to see where returns came from, how much remains unresolved, and whether a single event dominates the record.
- Compare closed results over matching periods.
- Check entry prices; a later copy may fill at a worse price.
- Look for concentration in one event or a set of related markets.
- Do not treat a high win rate as evidence of future profit.
Set parameters, then keep monitoring
Before starting, choose the capital you are prepared to allocate and a maximum per market. Check which controls are actually available in your product version. Once the bot runs, use Active Positions, History, and notifications to review what happened.
A copied order can fill at another price, only partly, or not at all. A loss remains possible even when a bot performs the monitoring and execution steps for you.
