How to inspect a trader's record

This page describes an approach to public-wallet analysis, not results from a Polyfund study. We have not published a wallet dataset, backtest, or verified performance statistics.

What to check

Compare wallets over the same period. Keep resolved trades separate from open exposure. Check entry prices, concentration in individual events, and possible drawdown.

  • Aggregate profit should link to individual trades.
  • Open positions should not be mixed into realized results.
  • One large win does not establish a repeatable strategy.
  • All demo figures must be labeled as examples.

What still needs publication

Before real rankings launch, we need published metric definitions, data sources, fee treatment, and a revision date. Until then, Research pages describe an evaluation method, not proprietary results.
